Pope worried about Nicaragua

The Nicaraguan Cardinal, Leopoldo Brenes, affirmed that Pope Francisco “is worried” about Nicaragua and he is asking “constantly” about the situation of the country, whose sociopolitical crisis has left at least 220 dead in two months.

“The Pope is concerned, he is worried, he is watching us, and he constantly asks us: how are thing going ?, he is interested in the (national) dialogue progress, because only through a dialogue problems be solved “Brenes said in Sunday’s homily in the metropolitan cathedral of Managua.

Honduras and Mexico review trade issues and seek to boost the existing FTA
